Workshop:
Melania Mieli is the pseudonym of an Italian writer, born on 1983.
Her debut in literature is in December 2015 with the novel The Thirteenth Period, published by Lettere Animate, whose central theme is self-determination through the exploration of desire and its many consequences. From 2015 to 2016 she told the story of the employees of the Firm in a blog. From this experience the Piano dei Conti was born, a novel about the world of work treated in a grotesque way.
In September 2016, the melaniamieli.com website was opened, pided into the following sections:
- amenity in the boudoir: which explores issues related to the world of sexuality and post-porn;
- freedom is participation: which exposes issues related to feminisms;
- demanding expression: a laboratory for comparing ideas with writers, musicians and artists in the broadest sense of the word.
Since November 2016 she participates in the feminist movement Non Una di Meno. From 8th March 2017 she collaborates with the feminist platform La malafemmina.The Dew Point is her third novel. Set on the stage - and behind the scenes - of a musical talent show, the manuscript addresses the theme of narcissism in the current society characterized by an over-exposure, where every subject is the advertising object of himself and every success or failure is assessed according to its disclosure value.

Nehra Stella is a queer artist, mother and filmmaker, who moved from Paris to Berlin, in 2008, which she considers to be her homeland.
In her work she explores gender, sexuality, identity issues, love and relationships, with an ironic, erotic, feminist, queer point of view.
She believes that ART and SEX can change the world.
She directed “Paris la Nuit” in 2009, “Vivre Berlin” in 2013 and “Berlin-Sarajevo” in 2014, together with the artist Natasha Davis.
Since few years, she lead workshops and performances on gender and bdsm and she collaborates with Felix Ruckert in various projects.
In 2017 she co-curated with him the program of Xplore Roma 2017 and the program of Xplore Rome, Barcelona and Copenhagen 2018.
ITALIAN REVENGE
In advanced societies, Rage is very badly judged, and for good reasons, because someone who is furious it’s dangerous for the collectivity and can easily become violent and uncontrollable.
At the same time, Rage is also an emotion that motivate revolt against injustice and abuse, the driving force behind many civil rights battles, that brought the acknowledgment of many oppressed minorities.
Rage can generate transformation.
In this sense and in contrast to the ideal of a submitted and weak stereotyped femininility we decided to evoke the concept of revenge.
In Italy, the State-Church binomial has made the modality with which the patriarchy has built its prototype of society particularly ferocious. The affirmation of a machist dictatorship such as the Fascist dictatorship is an example, as are the failures of many strenuously opposed feminist projects.
The aim of this workshop is to analyze the existing as a result of a discriminating past (not only for women but also for lgbtqia +) and to subvert the present with the "revenge" that the new feminist, international and intersectional movement, it is serving as a sign of participation and self-determination.
Exploring the anger experienced in our history, we will then be invited to overturn the idea of the Italian woman victim and finally tell about the struggle, which rebels, that denounces and that solidarizes.
